Three step diagram: 1. A drug name (clarithromycin) and a list of routes 2. A drug name, route (oral) and a list of doses 3. A drug name, route, dose (DOSE 250 mg) and a list containing one frequency

MSP-1300

When there are no template prescriptions to display and a known set of safe values are available (for example, for dose and frequency), present selection lists for those fields sequentially (step by step)

Diagram of three boxes plus a list in a row. The first two (clarithromycin and oral) are labelled 'drug name and route', the third plus the list are labelled 'required fields (that won't be pre-filled)'

MSP-1310

Require the selection of at least drug name and route (or attributes from which the type of medication can be derived) before presenting input controls for any other values

Mandatory

Three step diagram: 1. A drug name and a cascading list containing routes 2. A drug name, route and list labelled 'required fields' containing doses 3. A drug name, route, dose and list labelled 'required fields' containing a frequency

MSP-1320

After selections have been made in all cascading lists, if there are no template prescriptions, display any required fields that will not be pre-filled in sequence such that a field is displayed when the previous one has been completed

Mandatory

A series of six input boxes with the fifth wrapped onto a new line. The fifth box contains the text 'four times a day as required'. The sixth box contains the prompt 'Give when...' and has a drop-down list containing 'Breathless' and 'PEFR is below 200'

MSP-1330

If a selection from a cascading list (such as frequency of 'as required') requires a further field to be completed, display that field before the remaining required fields
